GRAPHIC TEES: A WARDROBE ESSENTIAL
Like we needed an excuse for more tees?!
T-shirts have, rightfully so, always had a special place in our wardrobes. Whether it’s the perfect white t-shirt you spent years searching for, the oversized tee that pairs perfectly with your favourite jeans, or the old vintage tee you’ve had since you were a teenager - t-shirts are the BEST!
Over the past few years I’ve started to curate a pretty good collection of some quality tees and I feel like it’s only going to keep growing now that graphic tees are popping up everywhere. I’ve been trawling the internet lately for some new tees to inject into my wardrobe and I think I’ve come across some favourites (and added a few new ones to my collection too, oops!)
Some of my favourite graphic tees coming out at the moment are from the likes of Anine Bing (this woman can do no wrong as far as I am concerned!), Prince Peter, Madeworn, RE/DONE, and Cinq a Sept. If you’re keen to splurge a little more on a tee, then I’m also drooling over what Bella Freud, Coach, Saint Laurent and R13 are putting out in the way of graphic tees, too! For some more high street styles, I’ve injected a couple of Nasty Gal tees into my wardrobe lately and while the quality is not as good as any of the aforementioned, they are cheap and cheerful and have some killer prints too for the season.
I personally think that graphic tees are the perfect pairing with almost everything. Heck, I even think the daggiest vintage tees can even be dressed up with the right essentials (I’m looking at you, structured blazer and pointed heels!) I’ll be rockin’ graphic tees with denim skirts, boyfriend style jeans, long silk skirts, underneath dresses and with blazers for the foreseeable future!
How about you guys?
