THE STAPLE BLACK BLAZER

When I think of wardrobe staples, the first thing that comes to my mind is the classic black blazer.

I'll be honest, I've had my eyes set on the Balmain blazer for a while now, but with a slightly hefty price tag (and my 'Chanel Bag Fund' becoming a bit of a priority for the time being, in my dreams hehe), I just can't justify its purchase right now. I did, however, stumble across a Balmain-inspired blazer and thought it was a good middle ground, and ever since it arrived I have been obsessed.  So obsessed!

It also got me thinking about how many black blazers I have and how much I consider them to be a complete wardrobe staple! A blazer automatically dresses up a more casual outfit, is good for adding an element of sophistication, and is just downright cool! I love the extra addition of the gold buttons on this one.
