5 OF THE MUST HAVE SHOE STYLES THIS SEASON
If you missed the memo, I’m kinda-sorta-maybe a shoe addict?!
I’m not one to shift responsibility, but maybe if such cool styles didn’t keep stealing my heart then my collection wouldn’t be crazy … hehe. I’ve rounded up 5 styles of shoes I’m lusting over at the moment and a selection that are sitting pretty in my Wishlists across the internet. Let me know what your faves are!
CAGED SHOES
Caged shoes have been on my Wishlist for SO long and after picking up these Topshop heels the other day, I am officially in love (and of course, in need of more …)! I had seen a few stiletto styles doing the rounds, but was in need of something with a block heel as comfort is key when it comes to heels for me. Now that these are firmly planted in my Spring Summer wardrobe, I’m going to need a pair of flats in a similar style. It would be rude not to!
SNEAKERS
I’m not 100% ready to commit to the Dad sneaker trend yet, but I have seen these sneakers look INSANELY epic on so many other people - namely my girl Sinead - that I might just be coming around. Close to thinking I might just try an el cheapo pair to see what I think!? Sneakers are definitely some of my favourite footwear choices this season, and there's just so many that I’m reaching for all day everyday, namely my Golden Goose white sneakers, my Old School vans and of course the permanently attached to my feet leather platform Supergas (what I consider to be an absolute wardrobe staple!).
WESTERN BOOTS
I’m a little bit sad that it’s now Spring and not the ideal time to fall in love with boots. Actually, who am I kidding, I wear boots all year long! Western style boots have completely stolen my heart this season and I can’t wait to get myself a pair (gearing myself up to commit to either these See By Chloe babies or these ones from Ganni). If you’re in the Norther hemisphere, please please please get yourself a pair of western style boots. I love seeing everyone rock them with their fall outfits!
ESPADRILLES
I’m now an espadrille convert and I’m not sure where they have been all my life! Nothing says summer quite like a pair of lace up, wedge espadrilles or some sneaker-espadrille hybrids. If you see many rocking pairs of these all Summer wrong - I apologise in advance. Actually, no I don’t!
BOWS + LACE UPS
Lace up and bow details on shoes have always stolen my heart - so I’m a little bit excited to see so many styles embrace this again this season! There’s nothing better than a little bow attached to a pair of elegant shoes, or a cheeky lace up detail on an elegant pair of summer sandals. These Merchant 1948 heels are my new favourite heel - the added bow detail has stolen my heart - such a cute little touch to a nude pump!
