It’s summer, so everyone needs a couple of little white dresses in their wardrobe! I think LWD’s are the perfect piece to take from a summery day to a night out with a simple shoe and accessory switch, and for that reason, are one of a wardrobe #1 necessities!
THE LONG SLEEVE DRESS
What might seem like a weird one to make the list for summer dresses, but the long sleeve dress is an important one for those summer days that turn into cooler summer nights. Plus the long sleeve dress is my favourite type of dress so they had to make the list!
THE DENIM DRESS
I just added my third denim dress to my collection and I’m officially obsessed with them! I think they are such a cute piece for summer that packs a punch but with minimal outfit putting together effort. My favourite kind of outfits!
THE LITTLE BLACK DRESS
This one is about as self-explanatory as it gets - hands down the most versatile piece in any girls wardrobe. My number one, thats for sure!
THE SLIP DRESS
Slip dresses are the perfect ‘throw on but effective’ piece - they have that sexy look without trying too hard, and are the perfect blank canvas to let your accessories do the talking.
THE MAXI DRESS
Another must-have summer piece is a maxi dress. I like to keep a maxi dress quite simple, ie: sans print, so to be not overwhelming on the wearer. Maxi dresses look so cute with a pair of barely there sandals and a cute hat!
THE OFF-SHOULDER DRESS
Off shoulder dresses are the perfect way to have a bit of fun with your dresses! My favourite off the shoulder dresses are ones that incorporate ruffles as I think it makes them super girlie and playful.
THE COLOURFUL MINI DRESS
While I might not be the biggest wearer of colour, hehe, I can definitely appreciate a colourful summer mini dress, so had to include these in the round up, too! Nothing screams summer like a bright sundress!
