MONOCHROMATIC
Even though temperatures are through the roof, it's this time of the year that I start to think about my next season wardrobe. At the moment, I'm thinking particularly about how I can morph some of my favourite summer pieces into acceptable winter staples, and also what I am lusting after and must purchase before we see the temperatures drop. I'm not sure whether it's all the street style we are seeing from our Northern Hemisphere counterparts or because winter styles are slowly creeping into stores, but I'm feeling a lot more inspired to inject my winter wardrobe than I am to keep buying for my summer wardrobe. It's not a bad thing though, there's some killer drops appearing in retailers now and I've always been a fan of jumping on bandwagons when they are empty, as I'm sure you are too, eh?!
So this is me morphing my summer wardrobe into my winter wardrobe. I'm predicting the bulk of my winter staples to involve a lot of leather (I already have a killer over sized leather jacket c/o New York that I can't wait to bring out!), a lot of fringe detail, a lot of heeled boots and also a lot of black and white used in combination. I'll do a post soon of my winter must haves, but that's a little start.
However there's absolutely no escaping the Perth heat just yet, so I'll be sticking to shorts and tanks for a while yet I predict! Leather shorts are still a bad idea in this heat, but I just can't help myself!
