THE 70'S: THEN AND NOW

Admittedly, I've never been one to jump onto a new fashion trend.  Two reasons, mainly. Firstly, I never seem to suit trendy things and end up looking utterly ridiculous when I try and secondly, I like to stick with what I know and I've never had the confidence to break out of that mould. 

Well, that is until now.

Not only have I decided to, well, grow some balls and actually jump outside my comfort zone, but for the first time I've fallen completely head over heels for a trend. The 70's trend, to be exact. This new (but old?) trend has taken over the fashion world of late and it is literally everything I want and more. I have been online shopping up a storm of late and I'm so excited about some of the 70's inspired goodies I have on the way.

I'm starting off pretty low key here with a faux fur jacket, suede A-line skirt and an off the shoulder top but who knows, when you see me next I might be decked out in bell bottoms, platform heels and a lace up top.
