MY NEW NEUTRAL

CamelCoat12

Black, white and grey are the colours that have somewhat defined my personal style over the years. It's not that I don't like colour (disclaimer: this actually may be a false statement, I'm yet to decide), I just have very simple taste and what I like to fondly refer to as a 'neutral' style aesthetic. No matter how many times my dearest mother asks me to wear colour, it's just not going to happen (sorry mum, but at least I'm over my 15 year old 'emo' phase ...!).

HOWEVER. Sometimes a little something comes along, throws you off your axis, continues to pop up around the place, starts to infiltrate your thoughts and before you know it, has ended up in your life. I'm talking about the camel coat. Although it breaks my own style rules, a camel coat has become a style favourite and wardrobe staple for many people over the years and it was about time I bit the bullet and let one into my life. Besides, it's still not a really a "colour" and to make myself feel better, I'm going to slip it quietly into the 'neutral' category while no one is watching.

Welcome to my life, camel coat. May you form long lasting relationships with all the black, white and grey in my wardrobe. You're going to be around for a while.
