POST XMAS SALES: GOOD FOR THE SOUL!

I feel like I’ve come out of my Christmas food coma enough to embrace the extended Boxing Day sales. While some re-con was definitely done while nursing a food baby on the couch - now the serious purchasing action happens! Side note: does anyone else continue to eat Christmas leftovers for days after? No, just me?
Each year in the sales I try to focus on a few, specific things I think would be great additions to my wardrobe. This year, I wanted to find a few pretty dresses and some staple heels in the sale to fill some gaps in my wardrobe. And, of course, they wouldn’t be great sale finds unless I shared them with you, too - especially since the culprit of the majority of my sale purchases has been Shopbop with their cheeky extra 25% off sale! YES!
DRESSES
Dresses have really stolen my heart this year - while they’ve always been my favourite wardrobe pieces, I’ve found myself endlessly scrolling for some new summer pieces as well as occasion pieces to get me through the party season and the special events beyond it.
One of my favourite brands at the moment is MISA - their dresses are to die for, so I couldn’t go past these sale finds - a gorgeous purple/burgundy number and this casual black and pink day dress. I also can’t get enough of the purple colour and cut of this Joie number - so it had to have a mention too as the perfect summer dress.
Speaking of things I love - tell me something better than a dress that can take you from day to night! My picks for these kind of pieces are definitely something simple but elegant, where you can add accessories to get that extra wear out of it. I can’t go past this gorgeous striped Nicholas number and of course, a LBD with a little bit of a twist thanks to Rag and Bone.
HEELS
Mark my words - a pair of strappy, simple, elegant sandals have been my highest priority this sale season. I think I keep putting their purchase off because to me, heels are not worn enough to justify a big price tag so I like to really think about the purchase and wait for when I can get a little bit of a bargain! Without alarming anyone - these Stuart Weitzman in both nude and tan ARE GOING FOR AN ABSOLUTE STEAL! I’m also a huge fan of lace up sandals, so these Schutz babies made it into my cart quickly, as well as these simple black Kendall + Kylie heels (can vouch that these brand of heels are insanely comfortable!)
