MAKE A STATEMENT
Bags are the best statement making accessory!
Bags have definitely become my vice this past year - I often find myself scrolling endlessly through my favourite online stores looking for new handbag additions. While I like to stay pretty high-street with my clothing choices and, generally shoes too, handbags are the one thing I'm willing to party with a little extra cash for.
Usually I stick to the classics (think black bags, gold or silver hardware), but it was this Marc Jacobs bag that caught my eye pretty much immediately! It actually comes in black too (and pink, nude, white!) but completely out of character, I was drawn to the burgundy and that's the one that ultimately ended up hitting the shopping cart! Red and burgundy are certainly having their moment in the spotlight this season (and totally owning it, too!), so I was initially drawn to the gorgeous colour, but it also didn't take me long to fall in love with this killer guitar strap bag strap, too. I think this colour and added detail adds a nice pop to a black outfit and mixes well with this House of Harlow x Revolve polka dot top and simple denim skirt, what do you think?
Are you also loving red this season and do you like to sometimes brand out for a more statement bag instead of a classic? It's taken me a while but I finally strayed from the black bag rule!
