Skincare obsessed little Ashleigh can’t get enough of genuinely great skincare and when I find new things that really work, naturally I have to shout about them from the rooftops. I spent most of my Thanksgiving weekend gushing to one of my besties about my love for some new products I had been using, including SkinCeuticals Custom D.O.S.E, so now it’s your turn to hear about them!

Earlier this year, after hearing a lot (and I mean a lot) of incredible things about basically the entire range of SkinCeuticals products, I started trying out a few a serums and a moisturizer, and I was instantly hooked. My skin has been glowing from using SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic and Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier serums - like really glowing, ever since I began using them. Additionally, their Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 moisturizer has been making my skin feel softer than a baby’s bottom, as they say. These three have been firmly established in my daily routine this year.

Recently, on the back of my love of these products, I attended a Skincare Physicians event in Boston to try another product I had been wanting to get my hands on, the SkinCeuticals customizable serum - aptly named Custom D.O.S.E. I appreciate anything personalized across the board, but particularly skincare because it basically means you’re getting exactly what your skin needs without guessing - win!

First, a physician discussed and determined both what I wanted and needed from my D.O.S.E serum (anti-aging and glow - put it on my tab!), noted the ingredients that would achieve this and anything else she thought I needed, and had the Custom D.O.S.E machine dispensing the exact components of my serum into my jar. The Custom D.O.S.E machine then whizzed all the ingredients together, and like magic, in less than 10 minutes I was holding my custom serum.

I have been using my Custom D.O.S.E serum twice a day for the last month and I have no doubt that it has had a positive effect on my skin. My serum was tailored to my desire for youthful, glowing skin, and I can definitely feel a change in my skin’s texture, which is exactly what I wanted. This is a product that I will be going back for when I run out.
